The Myth-Master In the year 1964, during a low point in his dreary life, Loony Leo came under the influences and evil guidance of the villain, ZZardo. The Myth-Master Incident History After being "rescued" by Zzardo and promised a chance to die, Loony Leo became the Myth-Master and agreed to destroy Honor Guard. He conjured up figures from folklore and fiction to battle with the super-team. Achilles- The legendary Greek Warrior Blackbeard- The notorious pirate D'Artagnan- from The Three Musketeers Gort- The robot from The Day the Earth Stood Still Joe Magarac- A legendary steelworker Pecos Bill- A legend in tall tales of the American West Quetzalcoatl- A Mesoamerican deity known as the Feathered Serpent The Witch- The witch from "Hansel and Gretel" Even with Joe Magarac apparently switching sides, Honor Guard, with all of their powers and abilities couldn't overpower this collections of characters from fantasy, myth, and imagination. The Myth-Master captured them and used his innate powers to drain their psychic energies. But just as they were on the verge of fading from existence, he relented. He just couldn't kill them, or anyone for that matter. Loony Leo revealed his true identity and captured his henchman, Zzardo. The Silver Agent and the other heroes were sympathetic to Leo's plight, and even though a trial was scheduled, steps were taken to keep everything low key and "out of the papers." The identity of the Myth-Master was never revealed to the general public. Equipment Leo wields a belief focus, a power that could soak up psychic energy and then manipulate it in any manner he chooses to imagine.
