Jack-in-the-Box has been an active agent against crime for decades now. His colorful exploits and cavalier fighting style continue to captivate and delight the citizens of Astro City. Especially the youth from the poorer, economically challenged neighborhoods. Jack defends their turf on a regular basis, he seems to be "one-of-them" in many ways. Most of his battles are with street thugs and the lower tier costumed villains; those more interested in get rich schemes rather than world conquering aspirations. He has a long list of adversaries, a gallery of rogues villains, equally as colorful and original as himself. But on occasions, some of the strangest characters cross his path, and the encounters can be downright bizarre.

"I am Eth. I am of the Quiqui-a.
We are Nothing. Nobody.
Our world... it is part of what you call the Moleculands. The largest of the microscopic realms that nest below your own. I am here after far too long to turn myself in. To see justice done for my crime. For the callous and immoral death of one of your own."

She's one of Astro City’s most powerful mystic heroes. A newspaper article among the Broken Man's odd and mysterious collection details the heroine Silver Adept's recent move to Astro City and her assisting the Honor Guard in their battle with Mister Mystoro. But that is just part of her very hectic life style. She is so busy being an "adept" authority on all things mystical, she even has a small staff assisting her.
Stockton and Moreton
They're not cats (that's for sure) and they're not exactly dogs. But they are something cute, sensitive, friendly and while not demonstrated yet, no doubt very protective. Not sure which is Stockton and which is Moreton. Except for color and perhaps gender, they source from the same species. While their position in Silver Adept's entourage seems to be that of pets, with mystics, you can never be sure, and you should never assume...
